Henry Luke Starr and Loretta Archibald

Henry Luke Starr a.k.a. Luke Polk Arnett was born Feb 1, 1892 in Sulphur City, Arkansas, to John Douglas Arnett and Alice Bains Fancher.  He spent his early childhood in Arkansas with his four siblings, Sue, Gyp, Mary, and Loma.  He died July 25, 1970 and was buried in the cemetery in Plymouth, Utah.
This excerpt was taken from a Tribute to Henry L. Starr given by Nola Starr:  "He came to Plymouth a handsome young boy, wooed and wed a lovely young girl and together they built a life.  He worked hard all his life, earning his living from the time he was fourteen years old.  He knew what it was to work long hours on the old threshing machine, or in the hay field.  His word was as good as his bond, and he was trusted by all who knew him.  Grandpa and Grandma's home stood for hospitality and friendship.  No one entered their door, from tiny child to adult, milkman to bishop, that he wasn't made to feel "oh, so welcome."  All were asked to sit at the table and eat with them or to have a piece of pie or cake.  He really enjoyed his friends.  But entwined about the innermost circle of his heart was his family, and in the very center of the circle was Grandma Loretta Archibald Starr, his sweetheart for over half a century..."
