Hi,
We had most of the family here for the 4th. Gary, Hiromi, Elica and Shogo from Cheney; Brent, Stefanie and their eight kids, Olivia, Micah, Liz, Liddell, Seth, Lucy, Cumorah, and Caleb from Othello; Larry and Richelle from Moses Lake and Angie. Philip, Alex and Willy went to their father's in Bothel. We had the all American hamburger with everything on it and hotdogs, Larry's deep-fried onion rings and fries, salads, soda pop and watermelon slices. Afterwards we went downtown to watch the fireworks. We squeezed into our hillside spot after the removal of a mouse and a black widow spider, got comfortable and waited until it got dark enough. Meanwhile the firemen responded to a fire nearby and passed by our way. Shortly after, the ice-cream gal drove up and grandpa treated the kids who were still awake to some ice-cream. This year the fireworks were spectacular, even more-so than the year before. Richelle and I noticed the atmospheric vibrations were stronger.
Back at the house, we began our traditional 4th of July sleepover. Brent and some of the kids slept out under the stars, and Stefanie, baby, and others slept inside.
We hope you all had a great 4th. We love our country and our independence and send our love to all our family.
Arlene and Lanny
