Ryan Starr Davis' birthday is today, November 30, 2012

                              HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN

So what's on the agenda for the day besides the normal?  Going out for dinner or staying home out of the cold and enjoying a nice candle-lit dinner for three?  Or maybe a big family gathering?  Whatever and however you celebrate we hope that it is a good day for you.

For your birthday we'll float some virtual balloons your way along with a big hug and birthday wish.  Here goes...swoosh....

Okay, so they are not exactly birthday balloons, but since your mom and Zack are into flying around in the sky you might have the same inclination, or not.

I wandered through your blog the other day and came upon some nice pictures that I would like to share.  Hope that it is okay.  Some of these pictures are from our family album also.

Our first visit with Ryan and her mother and father was when she was a baby.  It was in the home of Carl and Nola Starr and with them were her two older siblings, Angela and Brian.  Our daughter, Stefanie held baby Ryan much of the time.  She has always wanted a large family and her wish came true.

The next time we visited Ryan she was no longer a baby but a toddler and had a brother Zachary.  It wasn't long before they were no longer toddlers but adolescents and soon teenagers.

There was school, graduation and a "see you later" to her little brother who had become her bigger brother, as he went off to the United States Army.

Soon announcements of her engagement to Josh Davis were being shared with family and friends.

As they waited to be married they built a house, not just a house of expectations and dreams, but a honest to goodness real house.  Like the song goes, "A wise man built his house upon a rock," so when the rains come down and the water goes up it will stand the perils of life.

On a wintry day in December 2010 she became Mrs. Ryan Davis, one year after her father Craig had passed away.  So much a part of life are these contradictory moments, one moment good, one moment bad, and one moment good but from these moments precious memories are preserved and cherished.

And in 2012 a little spirit from Heaven was sent to the Davis' to be loved and reared in a home full of love.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN, MAY YOU HAVE MANY HAPPY EXPERIENCES AWAITING YOU IN THE YEARS AHEAD. PERHAPS THERE IS EVEN A HOT-AIR BALLOON RIDE IN THERE AFTER ALL...

Love, Grandpa and Grandma Starr
