Larry Goodrich has a birthday today, October 8, 2013

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY

Larry the man is synonymous with work.  He is "the farmers' choice John Deere man," EMT and fireman, mountain man, fisherman, hunter, builder, repairman, mechanic, harvester, chef, barbecue chef, husband, father, step-father, father-in-law, and grandfather to three grandchildren, soon to be four.

Lets take a glimpse at a day or two into the life of Larry as I see it.
The words written below are written to the tune of "Rawhide."

Movin' Movin' Movin'
Keep movin, movin', movin',
Though they are a groovin',
Keep them kids a movin' Lar - ry!

Don't try to understand 'em,
Just hug and love and nudge 'em,
And soon they'll be movin' by your side.

Pass bamboo, trees and flowers,
Walking along four hours,
Wonders of the earth so big and wide.

Move'em on, lead'em out,
Head 'em up, have no doubt,
Move 'em on, lead'em out,
Lar - ry.

Movin', Movin', Movin',
Through corn and wheat and tators,
Keep them Deeres a movin'
Lar - ry.

Rain and wind and weather,
He will not be tethered,
Wishin' the Deeres were running right.

Fixin' belts and manifold,
Checking tie rods in the cold,
Hear the engines humming smooth and tight.
Start 'em up, move'em out,
Move 'em out, start'em up,
Start'em up, move'em out,
Lar - ry, Lar - ry.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY!
LOVE, DAD AND MOM STARR
