| CUMORAH RUTH GILES |
Four years ago Cumorah entered this life as the sixth child born to Brent and Stefanie Giles. It wasn't long until you saw in her a strong willed personality. She may be the youngest girl in the family but she is very aware and alert to things going on around her. Grandpa Starr is still trying to win her over, and she is still in the mama-toddler stage, but that doesn't diminish her individuality.
She and her sister Lucy play together a lot. She is a “little mama” with her younger brother, Caleb. Her older brothers and sisters really pitch in and help watch out for her; Olivia and Liz are especially helpful, but then I have seen the boys help out too. Good for you Micah, Liddell and Seth for some day you will be dads. Reminds me of my older siblings. Lucy and Cumorah will play for hours in their make-believe world. Lucy has a fascinating imagination in which she portrays life as she sees it. It's very interesting to watch them at play. You can learn a lot about the adults they are minicking. “So you'd better watch out, someone is watching you.”
They are still at the age where technology hasn't numbed their natural imagination as the driving force in their play. They love playing “house” which includes visiting pretend friends, and going shopping to imaginary stores. They love reading stories to each other. Their mother reads to them a lot.

Their play includes the garden too. Usually they take their play shovels and buckets to the garden and start digging in the sand pile. They wander the garden pouring a little dirt here and there, meander along the trails and entertain themselves for hours. I had put some blue dirt in their sandbox, and the next day while in the garden I noticed little blue sprinkles all around. Had to chuckle a little and didn't have to wonder who did it! It was like looking at the child who had chocolate all over her face from eating the disappearing cookie!
These two little girls still love to play with dolls. I'm going to have to build up my collection. Right now it's very small. I used to have a collection of Barbie dolls, but gave them away a few years ago.
