ELICA AND SHOGO STARR HELPED WITH THE CHENEY HIGH SCHOOL TOY DRIVE 12-2012

GOOD EVENING ALL,

Elica Starr

Shogo Starr

I have just a few things to say to finish off the year 2012.  First good job Elica and Shogo in your efforts in the Cheney High School toy drive.  Cheney High School students in five clubs combined to donate 337 toys to the Tree of Sharing in a holiday drive that concluded Friday, December 14, 2012.  These clubs are the future Business Leaders of America FBLA; The Spanish Club; the Future Farmers of America FFA; Distributive Education Clubs of America DECA; and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America FCCLA.

Shogo Starr listens to a fellow classmate as he waits in line with Joe White (behind box) and Tim McGillicuddy to off load armfuls of toys collected during the Cheney High School toy drive.

Elica and Shogo, Grandpa and I are proud of you two for actively taking part in a drive to help children during the holidays.

I'm sure there were children who received more than they would have because of the efforts put forth by so many of you.

We enjoyed your family's visit with us just after Christmas, the Sherlock Holmes' movies we watched together, the nice heater you gave us, which keeps the computer room nice and warm.  It was delightful being able to

have a run-around-town outing the next day visiting Hastings, Fashion Bug, and eating at Denny's.  We're always happy to see you come.
