Larry's 50th Birthday Celebration, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011

Larry turns the big 5 - 0, is that scary or what?   And what do you think he wanted to do for his 50th birthday?  "Cook",  and why not.  He wanted to cook a tantalizingly out of this world meal for his friends, and family, one that included smoked salmon, smoked turkey, beef brisket, smoked pork roast, and barbecue ribs, in addition to a pot of his savory chili, and family style stir-fried vegetables and baked potatoes.  Richelle made the 50-year old cake, whoops, I mean two cakes for one who is turning 50 years young.  She stuck 50 lollipops in the tops of the cakes.  "Why not candles," you wonder.  "No candles are allowed in the church house.  Lollipops are tastier anyway. Friends and family came; Jason and Kendra and their two boys, Levi and Max, who helped their grandpa Larry by rallying around him and helping as children do.
Lots came to partake of the delicious food and celebrate Larry's "coming of age."  HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY.
