| CUMORAH AND LUCY |
In her portrayal of Mary in the Nativity, Lucy took the part very seriously and when it was time for Jesus to be born, she re-enacted it as closely as she thought it might have happened, by grabbing her stomach. You can see her grab her stomach in this picture. Very charming and effective for delivering the message that Mary is about to have a baby. She also has a little patting underneath her costume. Must have been the work of one of her other sisters. Good job Lucy.
Stefanie wrote a small children's book called "Loosey Goosey" that was inspired by Lucy's love for feathers. It is quite a clever book and an easy to read book for children. Richelle did the illustrations for it. The girl with the feathers is one of the pictures in the book. You may order this book very inexpensively for your Kindle through Amazon and others.
Aunt Angie wrote a poem for Lucy. She had spent a month with them just recently and got to know Lucy as well as Stefanie's other children a lot better.
This poem shows great feeling for Lucy.
LUCY GOOSE
If Lucy was a goose she would fly all day,
Never stopping anywhere much to stay.
For she always knew,
What she was meant to do,
Was to spread cheer to those who are feeling blue.
That is why she flies up in the sky,
She is looking for those who's hearts seem to cry.
She can hear them from way far above,
And she just flies into their lives with love.
Where she only stays for a little while,
Though long enough she seems to make
them smile.
They can't keep her there,
even though they want to,
And if they try she soon will break loose,
Cause she knows that there's just too many who,
Need a visit from this special goose.
And that is why you hear people so often say,
I got a visit from the Lucy Goose today.
Happy Birthday Lucy
Love, Grandpa and Grandma Starr
